The above quote is from my Theology of Christ professor, Prof. Cassidy.. who has a very thick Scottish accent by the way! :) I thought it was probably one of the best ways to start this blog off because it kind of defines the past few days..

I'm not going to lie to any one of you, this transition is rough.. not only missing my family, which I think I've talked more than enough about hahah, but it's taken a toll on some friendships as well.. things are just very different here and everyone is kind of stressed and learning how to adjust and let's just get it out in the open that Erin isn't good with change! hahaha oh i'm a mess. well, not really.. i was yesterday, okay anywaaays..
But, I am so blessed and grateful to attend this University where I know when I'm down I can go to one of the chapels and just let it all out to Jesus, let Him take my worries, pains, and struggles.. and today with a beautiful  mass (that I was sacristan for! :)) and when Prof. Cassidy said the above quote (in his accent mind you!) it just took me to a whole new place that I really needed right now. Thanks for all the prayers.. I hope someone is taking care of my momma! :D (Tab, that's for you)

I went to a beautiful abbey in Melk, Austria a couple days ago which you'll see in a couple pictures.. and mostly just hung out around the Kartause. It's so beautiful, it's breathtaking.. I'll label the pictures that are the view outisde my window.. I got to talk to two of my very good friends, Rachel and Christine the past few days, too which was just so pleasant!

You are all in my prayers.. please continue to keep me in yours. Satan is kicking me in the face lately.. but the Lord, like always, is triumphing.
