Today my pops drove me to Rhode Island to meet up with Hannah Nelson (my roomate from last semester and very good friend (: ) whose grandparents live here.. my family didn't wanna hit the NYC traffic for the JFK airport tomorrow
saying goodbye was rough, i won't lie.. saying good-bye to my 5 yr. old sister, Riley, was the worst for sure.. even though she understands it the least. After a fake phone call of "Hello, where can I buy a new Sissy since mine will be away for so long?" I about broke down.. but as hard as it was, I know this is going to be such an amazing experience not only for myself but for my family. A time to learn more about our Lord, ourselves, our relationships, our world around us, our love for others.. just everything!
Keep me and the other passengers in your prayers tomorrow! I'll arrive in Dublin at 10am on Tuesday.. so my flight will be from 6pm tomorrow until then.. (but w/ the time differences and such.. it's only about a 6 hr flight!)
Mary, our Mother, protect us and keep us safe from injury and harm. Keep us close to your Son, always.
