well.. if i ever thought sacrafices were needed, i'd sure as heck say they were today. the hike was about 6.5 hrs long.. my body aches.. hannah got nasty blisters on the back of her ankles that were so bad, her shoes are soaked w/ blood.. my knees are shot and the food isn't staying down..
HOWEVER! saving babies is worth it. seeing a beautiful shrine of Our Lady is worth it. and i'm forcing myself to get up the energy to walk to the FOP to be able to tell the Lord how thankful i am.
thank you for the prayers. you were all in mine throughout the hike.
