I LOVE FOOTBALL.

So considering my extensive list of injuries since birth..I should just be a hermit.. and when I play sports, I usually wind up in some type of theraphy/hospitalization/rehab.. however, I am dedicated this semester to play flag football in Austria and try my best not to be injured! Football is my favorite thing ever.. being a lineman is like having your cake and eating it too. Way off subject.. Hannah and I figured out what I wanna be if I could do anything in the world: I'd be a hotel manager in a poor country whose hotel was pirate ship themed (and all the workers had to look like pirates) and I'd evanglize to the people there about Jesus Christ, our Savior.. and participate in a football league year round. (And yes, I am going to school for all of that ;))

Anyways.. I am so excited!!! Our first game is tonight, and I'm el capitain of the Savage Swans (Prof. Cassidy told us that is the oldest insult against Christians, written in Pompei.. so we decided it'd be a SICK football name.) And our team is pretty good.. we had a completly stacked team until we had to break off in two bc it was getting quite large.. but we should still be pretty legittttt.

We're going to Poland this weekend. I'm sooooo excited about that, too! :D POLAND=AWESOMENESS. Everyone talks about Poland when they come home from Austria.. Auschwitz, can you believe it? I'm going to see it.. I'm awestruck. My big sister in HH, Tricia sent me a card today.. it was really great to hear from her-she's leading the Hondaurs mission, so please keep her and her team in your prayers.

My family sends me mail alot, too. It is wonderful to have such an amazingly supportive family behind you every step of the way-thank you.

Well, that's about it.. I should be doing homework..
I'll post after Poland!! :)

hey there tootsie-pie. your last few blogs were really fantastic. the experience at mariazell (and the getting there part) sounds amazing. the photos show the spectacular beauty that is all around you...and there are those who would say that those waterfalls got there through some cosmic accident...kind of silly when you really think about it! the football stuff sounds fun, but i am infinitely more fired up for you regarding the naples trick; everything seems to have just fallen into place, which is more of the Lord's hand at work in your life. you seem to be resting so gently in His palm, living within and feeling the reality that all really is to the good when you let Him be your God. i hope that you are journaling the more private, interior parts of this journey that you have taken with Him. there may be days (long into the future) when you He will use your own words to further strengthen you in His ways.
it is good to love and miss your family, but they are all behind you and your great adventure, don't forget that. i have gotten your mom to "clean" king's this week, so she should be okay for another few days w/out her favorite college girl around...stay tuned.
take care honey and soak in every blessed moment as i know you will. your loving faith inspires others; you are a true disciple.
